Exercise: 22 Benefits You May Have Forgot

A huge factor in "aging" is because we stop moving. Our bodies aren't designed to break down and stop working like they do in the modern day. They stop working efficiently because we stop moving and taking care of them.

The body is designed to move and thrives when we put it into motion.  Movement brings life force energy to each cell and flushes the body of all that is no longer needed.

Advanced age does not mean weakening or sacrificing the abundance life has to offer.

In society we put so much emphasis on exercising for weight-loss and looking good. Don’t get me wrong looking good is a great feeling and an important aspect for self-esteem, confidence, and self love. However, I feel we often forget that there are numerous benefits that come from a consistent exercise routine.

When we exercise to look good or solely because we want to lose weight I think it's important that we ask ourselves first why it is we don’t already feel like we look good enough and why is it that we want to lose weight. There is usually a deeper reason and meaning to why and often times we need to heal that first and then the physical will follow. When we uncover our why we can use that as we start and continue our healing and exercise journey.

There are so many different types of exercise that people can enjoy. It doesn’t always have to be strenuous - you simply just need to move your body more in a way that works for you. Whether you just want simple and gently movements to feel good or a challenging training session. The beauty is that you get to choose.
